Asia Adomanis recently graduated from The Ohio State University after completing a dissertation titled “On the Borders of Abstraction: Chinese American Artists and the Politics of Hybridity in American Art at Mid-century.” Asia's research has been supported by the Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship Program, the Big Ten Academic Alliance Smithsonian Fellowship, and the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Initiatives Pool.
