Already declared a major or minor?
The Department of History of Art offers undergraduate majors and minors the opportunity to meet individually with a faculty advisor. These 30-minute appointments provide guidance on course selection, academic planning, and degree requirements to help students stay on track for timely graduation. Faculty advisors can also discuss internship opportunities, graduate school applications, research grants, study abroad planning, and other academic and professional goals.

Students can view faculty advisor availability and schedule appointments through OnCourse. If no appointments are available, please contact the department at historyofart@osu.edu for assistance in scheduling a meeting at a time that works with your schedule.
General Education (GE) Advising
As a History of Art major, you are also a member of the College of Arts and Sciences. For academic requirements outside the History of Art major, you should consult an academic advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences. These advisors provide guidance on General Education requirements, graduation requirements, and college policies and procedures.
